The Applied Research Center, a research and advocacy institute, developed this report card showing how state legislators voted on racial equity bills. I art directed and designed the report which was used in three states. The typefaces, colors, and use of black and white photography maintain the organization’s branding. The audience was primarily legislators and the media, so I chose photos that illustrate the issues and gave the whole report a clean and contemporary design.
