Ephemera satirizes gadget catalogs with a selection of outdated technology. The challenge of this project was to photograph old objects in the style of modern catalog design. I combined my studio photos with lifestyle photography to show the products in use or in the environment. My photographs and design emphasize the warm colors and the form of the objects. I also wrote all the descriptions in the tone of gadget catalogs that emphasize the benefit of owning the product.
